Argh.

I'm not happy.
I just spent an hour wrestling with various digital camera programs. A little cheep camera that came with my computer stopped working a while back, as every time the computer tried to access the camer it simply gave me a pop up that says: Camera not ready!

No explanation, just its apparently not ready. It just became not ready between one set of taking pictures and the next, so I couldnt figure it out. I thought it was just broken or something. Turns out, this applies to all digital cameras, this other one I now have to play with perpetually returns the message: Camera busy.

At least it doesnt have an annoying exclamation mark.

So what I know:
The USB ports they use work fine, I can test this with other USB devices.
It isnt specific to one camera, or one camera softwear as I have tried 2/several respectively.

Which leaves me with the inevitable conclusion that windows is once again the source of the f*ck-up.

I hate micro$oft, I really do. And the only thing that keeps me using their products is their undenyable monopoly on the market, which the world is powerless to do anything about, they where recently the 'victims' of the largest fine in the history of the law, for that very reason, over $20 million if my memory serves, and what exactly was the point of that to micro$oft who earn that every 30 seconds? Its like fining me or you $20, it stings a little, but you certainly wont miss it.
This dominance will lead to trouble.

So I am pissed off, a really bad way to start the day.
:(
