I've cut way back on the number of posts...1. because I got bored posting, and 2. because I do the same things every time, and it's boring to write or read about over and over again.
I thought I'd write down the programs I've been using, so I have that in my journal when I hand it in for a grade. I use Liberty 32 for the over the shoulder and fullscreen graphics, Director 8.5 to make my CD-Rom, and I used Photoshop 7.0 for all the components in my CD-Rom that I imported into director.
So still, all I do is work on my CD-Rom all day until about 3-3:30...then we get the list for the evening news graphics, Lenny grabs a piece of video for the story and we use it to make over the shoulder graphics for the anchors. Occasionally I'll get a graphic to do for the noon show, but it rarely happens...and they don't usually do new ones for the 11pm show because it's always the same stories from earlier. I'm gone by then anyway.
On Friday, Professor Viditz-Ward, my internship adviser, came to visit, and she was really friendly (I hadn't met her before then :-p), and me and Lenny took her on a tour of the studio, then she went and talked to Ed...I'm not sure what about, well I mean probably about me, but I don't know what they said...they hid in the green room. Then she looked at what I had done with my CD-Rom so far, and told me she'd like it by the third, even though I'm not technically done until the 6th. So I'll have to drive it to Bloom on that Tuesday. She wants it early because apparently there's going to be a strike at Bloom? Or they're at least talking about it. It better be over before the semester's supposed to start :-p I'm not being held back a semester because the faculty/administration have their knickers in a twist.
Anyway that's the most exciting thing that's happened lately. I still don't get stuck in traffic at all on the way there, and get stuck for forever on the way home (it took me an hour longer than normal to get home on Friday). Traffic is always stopped dead before mifflinville. I'd get off at that exit, but I don't know how to get to rt 11 from there. I sometimes get off at Berwick (because it's usually bad before Danville again), but then I have to go through the construction in downtown Bloomsburg...and I still lose. So I've taken to getting off at the Buckhorn exit so I miss all the construction. Well, after the first part.
Anyway, I guess that's it. I should be starting at Applebee's next weekend.
