Day 3
So yeah, didn't do much again at first. I left later than last time (I seem to leave later every time) and was still the first one there. That was ok though I just internet-ed. Ed got there and asked me if I had researched any websites (like flash websites) that would give me ideas to use for my CD-rom...like a portfolio/resume thing. Of course I hadn't and I felt like a douchebag, but then I just spent the rest of the morning doing that. He left at one to take his father to a doctor's appointment, Lenny came in at 2. I did a ton of graphics...like 7 or 8. Ed came back at like...4 or 5 or something and flipped out on Lenny for not fixing the computer like he told him (Well like he told me to tell him, so I felt all awkward like it was my fault). It was like Dane's joke "daddy just hit mommy at the dinner table" Lenny was kind of sulky after that, but he got over it eventually. He said something like...I should quit but I won't because that's what he wants...but I think they like each other ok, they were joking around the other day, so I guess they were just both pissed idk. Anyway, I got tons and tons and tons of graphics done, and I bonded with Mike. I usually don't because he comes in right before I'm going to leave (well like 2 hours before, but they're all working on news stuff then), and Lenny and Ed weren't really talking so we teamed up for graphics-making. Lenny also showed me how to dub my footage (like copy the previously-live newscasts onto my personal tape so I can show on my CD that my graphics were on-air) but Friday's tape was retarded, so we're going to have to get the DVD copy and do it Wednesday. I also did my first full-page graphic today. And I guess that's it. I felt kind of useless today too (especially the hour when Ed had left, but Lenny hadn't gotten there), but I did a lot of stuff for the broadcast after about 3 so I suppose that made up for it. Anyway I'll probably do the same thing on Wed (sit around, sit around, sit around...DO LOTS OF GRAPHICS!!!...leave.) but I'll also get some stuff on my tape so woohoo!
