Wow. So since Supernatural has killed all the women on the show (more or less), it is now time to resurrect one that's been dead for a while so we can a) make her evil and b) kill her again! Naturally!

I get it, Supernatural. I do. Message that women are expendable received. Nicely done.

I am routinely amazed at what they're doing with this show. It went from "okay, yeah, I get why you might say it's misogynistic" to "HOLY HELL WTF?!" really damn fast. It's pretty telling when they're now evilfying and killing off female characters who have been dead since pre-series.

The only one who escapes being totally expendable is Mary Winchester, and only because she has some Virgin Mary status.
