Ok, again with the House fic. I had hoped to get 10 drabbles written today, but that plan was made of fail. Instead you get one drabble, that wouldn't even end at a neat 100 or 50 or even 25 ending... so...

The thong is red. Lace, it's a tiny scrap of a thing. It's one of those times, where the principle matters more than the fact, though he would never admit such a thing in relation to Cuddy's panties. It's a test, a game. Everyone knows that, right down to the mostly deaf janitor in the east basement, but it's a lot more than that. The trick is to see which ones can figure it out.
It isn't as if he couldn't beg, borrow, or steal the panties himself - but where is the fun in that? He wants to see if any of them can manage it, and what they will do to accomplish it. How seriously do they take him? How bad do they want it? Will they follow his lead, even when they don't understand? Can they loosen up and have a little fun and still get the job done?
He needs at least two years out of them - two years, where they will follow his lead, without questioning his authority, but questioning everything else. If they are a little flawed to start with - buttons for him to push, rough edges for him to mold - all the better for his purposes and for theirs. This is just another step along the road to see who will bend and who will break.
It's a lot to ask from Cuddy's panties - but he figures they're up to the job.
