The great lefty debate . . .
First, I must admit, I didn't have a lesson. I forgot I had to sign on.
Second, I want to moan. What the HELL is all this elitist, anti-lefty bullshit going around the web? Almost every violin site has some twat saying playing violin left handed is just wrong. Why? It's not like most of us probably even WANT to play in your orchestra. It's very offensive, to be honest. I wouldn't compare it to racism, but sometimes it feels like it's nearing it. There's so many myths going round, and so many uneducated idiots! I have a lovely teacher, i've met many, many worse, and less encouraging ones, but even she has reservations! We've learnt, as lefties, to switch everything in our heads. Just leave us to it, teach us, we'll understand!
