We are having a Halloween part on October 31st. If you can see this, you are invited. Costumes are optional, but are encouraged. We will be providing snacks, but feel free to bring food to share with all (or just to horde for yourself) if you like. Oh, and did I mention there will be some free alchohol. We will be providing a KEG of BERRYWEISS (pending availability, Friar tucks said they should be able to get it but they are not 100% sure if they will still be selling keys in October) for all to drink, alchoholic punch, and w/e we have on the bar that will be labeled free for all. Other than that it is BYOB, so if you have a preference, or will only drink a certain liquor, make sure to bring your own.
Children are allowed, but at least one parent must be sober to take care of their child (and drive them home). Also keep in mind, this will be an adult party with drinking, and adult conversations. If you do not want your child subjected to this, don't bring them.
Designated drivers are required as a pre-requiste to drinking. If you plan to drink make sure you have a sobor ride home. This can be a friend, or a cab. Keep in mind that if you are intoxicated and try to drive home we will take your keys, and you will be walking, calling a cab, or sleeping on a very uncomfortable concrete floor. Basement or garage, we are still undecided. :)
We will be starting at around 7:00pm, but if you want to show up a early and hang out pre-party we will be here. The address is 1108 North Walnut Springfield, IL 62702. We have room for some cars in the driveway, but most parking will need to be around the corner on the street or in the lot for the state building next door (I don't think they will tow you, but that lot will be park at your own risk. We will be asking for permission to use the lot ahead of time however.).
