Really, really loved this! Lots of hot, yummy sex between them, and I loved seeing how Number One's life turned out after Nero. So many people died that day that didn't... makes for interesting twists. Glad that Pike got past the father-figure to Jim issue. They needed the three of them to be equals.

I do look forward to more of this 'verse!

I absolutely love how this story combines incredible hotness with just enough backstory (and angst suggested therein) to take the whole thing to a deeper, more emotionally involved level. And the angst, while pressing all the right buttons, never went out of control.

I love the depth in this. It's great sex but it's also great sex with consequences and context.
What I love about the reboot universe is the butterfly effect of the Kelvin's destruction and you've done an amazing job portraying that. I have to admit that i love Number One, and though Spock is probably my favorite AOS character it's a damn shame they couldn't have done more with her.

I hope there is more in this universe because it's just amazing.

There'll be definitely more, as the final installment is at 10K (estimate: 15K), the next one at 6K (estimate: 10K), and I've planned at least another smaller one in the middle.

I love it how a simple story developed into a whole series, but it's also SLIGHTLY eating my brain!

Sorry to have to little Spock in this series, but it's very focused on my main characters. Besides, NuSpock is a bit of a puzzle to me, I'm much better at writing TOS Spock.

Another brilliant installment in your lovely Pike/Kirk/McCoy 'verse, and I love how you've started taking Pike into this trickier, more emotional part of the relationship on top of all the tantalizing hints about how these three men fit together in the bedroom as well - that battle of wills between Pike and McCoy in particular is amazingly hot.

Also enjoyed seeing Number One and the way she still has her place in Pike's life even though the Kelvin incident has set her on a completely different path.
