Fringe-gushing (spoilers up to 3x16)

I think it's been way too long since I've written a post long enough to be qualified as a some serious hardcore series/pairing-fangirling, wouldn't you agree? Let's change that now, why don't we? :) Oh, FRINGE, how I missed you! This post will be full of my own notes concerning the show and if I've got something wrong, or remember something wrong,

If you like alt universes so much, you should definitely check out an anime called Noein. It is one my favourite animes, because while it has this crazy art style and actiona and tradegy, it also has relatable child characters and very interesting dynamics all around. I think you'd like it. ;D It was a very different experience from your usual anime treat.

Walter explains in season 1 that there are multible universes and that they spawn from the decisions of others. The reason we're only seeing Blue and Red, is because they are the closest to one another and because Walter breached the walls between Blue and Red and made his double Walternate aware of the Blue universe while at it. Thus war. I think the show would be a bit too hard to follow if we started adding up Yellow, Green, Pink, Black, White...

I fall into the category that likes Faux a lot (and her vagenda). Our Olivia is so broken that she makes me always feel sad for her whereas Faux is very capable and much more charming. As Peter said, "quicker with a smile". Plus she is hotter. I love the fringe hair and the color and the clothes. I feel a tad giulty for liking her so much, since our Olivia already has it so hard, but well... the show has enough angst as it is. Faux is more interesting than Olivia's self pity at the moment. Plus Faux has the cooler Lincoln. Oh yeah, I totally ship Faux/Lincoln. He is so cute. Maybe one day when all of this bullshit with babies is over, these two will find each other ;)

Peter/Olivia is a weird thing. I actually appreciate Peter a whole lot more now. Back when Olivia found out about Peter being from the other side, she didn't tell him WHEREAS when Peter was with the wrong Olivia, he did tell her. He was honest even if he knew it would hurt. Plus his dark side is seriously hot. I mean his actions with the shapeshifters in 3x11? I swooned. Aloud. Whereas Olivia is always troubled. Always with the fake smile. Always with the sadness. She really lets everything get her down, whereas Peter endures. Maybe it's a facade, maybe not. However I'm finding it harder and harder to get into Olivia's head. I keep wondering whether she'll ever be complete. And while Olivia/Peter is the OTP, I did enjoy that run down the Faux/Peter lane. Now that's electric and hot! (...obviously there is something very wrong with me)

Overall:

1) watch Noein
2) imho two universes is enough
3) Faux appeals to me more
4) while Peter/Olivia is OTP, I'm rooting for Faux/Lincoln

In my honest opinion, I would still love to know what the other universes are like, even if it just for one episode. It could be interesting. Just saying. I pretty much remembered the whole multiple universes thing correct, then. Yay!

Ah, don't have time to comment better right now but I'll probably be back to continue this rant :D
