In all of my WoW "Career" you would never hear me say this, "I Freaking Love Playing a Pally!" And yes, I do.
Last I left off here I mentioned I would be doing a Shaman healer. I did him well, but the tank in me kept crying out. I started to roll my Warrior back up, but I wasn't feeling it. I did some research on tanks, since I am lucky enough to have one of each kind already at level 80 - just 5 lvls away from the cap heh.
In my research, I theory-crafted the idea that Pallies have much more to offer in terms of raid mitigation and abilities. Nothing wrong with Warrs, or any of the tanks rather...Just the Paladin has and does much much more in terms of "Raid Talents".
One of my abilities is Divine Radiance which is a group heal. Yummy number 1.
There is Word of Glory which I can use to heal myself or another party member. Yummy number 2.
Another ability is Divine Guardian which reduces Raid Damage to Party Members other than myself by 20%. Yummy number 3.
And the final life saver, Lay on Hands which heals me or a party member up to full. Yummy number 4.
Not to mention the Buffs and Cleanse I also have on top of all that.
Warrs - Ugh, Me Orc Smashy Things. You get the picture.
In light of this evidence, I never really could stomach playing a Blood Elf. If you have seen the men in the game, they are just too, "Did something just mess up my hair, OMG?" ... Yeah, but with the new changes blessed to us by the release of Cata, I am now a Mighty Tauren Paladin. (For those that don't play WoW, I'm a big Cow!)
Now, I WTFROFLSTOMP nOObs all over the place, and lead my party into glorious battle one hoof at a time.
It's a good life to be a Tank/Heals/DPS class.
Till next time, Frag a friend.
