(no subject)
So, we moved theatres. We went fromt eh smaller 300-400 seat house to the bigger 1500-2000 seat house. The show fits fine, but we didn't really get to clean up the design before moving, and the problems just moved from one place to the next. Our producer, somehow thought that things would be better in the new place, like just suddenly it would all be perfect without us having any time to do any of the fixes. He also gave us a three page list of things to fix, which included notes like "lights too harsh in this scene - especially at the end." Hilarious. whatever.
Billy has begun decorating for Christmas. We traditionally get boring on Thanksgiving morning, before going to some dinner somewhere, and we set up the tree sans decorations. Then on Friday, friends come over and we decorate while our friends drink and gossip. It is good times, I actually really enjoy it. They don't realllly help, but it is nice to have company when you are doing these things.
This will actually be the unveiling of the house to many of our friends. Billy and I would to get the bedroom painted before they arrive, but I don't get back until Wednesday morning, and the party will be friday evening... Do I have time to paint an entire room, and get the decorations all out of the boxes in the garage? hmm. I do not know.
NEWS FLASH: I forgot to mention. I met up with an old girlfriend from High School. She was actually my first love and the girl that took my virginity. I think I was 18 at the time. That was a long time ago. She and her husband moved to Arizona a few years ago and opened a restaurant together. Sadly, they divorced a little over a year ago, but remain business partners. The restaurant is super cute, and it was great to catch up with her. I think the visit with her will be the Best Part of being here in Arizona.
