The Great Wall, part of my heritage
the Great Wall of China, built to stop the Mongols from invading China (partially worked, but good idea!), is a symbol one can see from the depth of space (ok, make that LEO, maybe HEO). think of all the lives and years and years spent building it. i'd like to visit and see it in person one day.
a friend and i was talking the other night and we were actually talking about motorized skateboards (i had actually tried out a friend's one), in fact, one like these lazy boy's toys.
well, he brought up this! can you imagine jumping the great wall? not for those afraid of heights. heck, i'm scared shitless of heights still and i've made 7 jumps (as in jumping,falling,being pushed out of a perfectly usable airplane!)
