cold rides home

Tonight (Wednesday), the Nation Weather Service (at the airport) says it was 19°F/-7.2°C with a wind chill of 6°F/-14.4°C; the thermometer on my bike said 16°F/-8.9°C, and I was riding into the wind.
Last night (Tuesday) it wasn't quite as cold, but it was snowing.
Tomorrow (Thursday)'s forecast is 41°F/5.0°C and sunny; that will feel balmy.

Thursday's rides did feel (relatively) balmy, getting up to 47°F/8.3°C. 32°F/0°C (the ride home) is now established as comfortable commuting weather - as long as it stays dry.
Today should be even warmer, perhaps 50°F/10°C; perhaps 57°F/13.9°C Monday.
