Chipotle

So, I'm basically liking Chipotle Mexican Grill. $8 seems expensive for a burrito, but I'm stuffed if I finish it (It's more like a meal and a half, for me.), and it seems like a healthier choice than most of what else is around - McD's, Taco Bell, Bojangle's fried chicken, etc. Tonight I tried to order on-line and pick up. I thought that would be faster than waiting in line. It's much easier to select what you want on line too, compared to standing in line with impatient people behind you while you try to make sense of an unfamiliar menu that's difficult to read. So placing the order (and paying) was easy; it didn't even require me to create an account. (I shouldn't use my work email for creating non-work accounts, and I can't access non-work email on a work computer.)

Did you know there are two Chipotles at Union Station? I didn't. The place isn't that big. The one I knew of isn't the one that does the on-line orders. So I had to find the other one. You may infer that there are parts of Union Station I don't frequent. (Now that my Metro commutes are rare (< 5/year), I don't have much reason to walk from one side of the station to the other.) I find it. It's busy. There's no one at the register. (I'm supposed to be able to skip the ordering line, but now there's a paying line.) Finally someone comes. There's 3 pick-up orders, but mine isn't there. So it's not ready at the promised time, and ordering on line didn't save me any time. I still had to wait for them to fix it, and then it took them a while to figure out it was already paid for.
