The browser Chrome has a Task Manager - shows how much memory and CPU each tab is using. That's something I've needed for ages with Firefox, and it doesn't have it. Even if I don't switch to Chrome, I may have to run it in parallel and load it up with the same websites to see which ones are sucking the life out of my laptop.
The task manager also shows the network traffic. That would be even better if it showed which direction the traffic is going. I'd like to know about web pages that are sending data back to somewhere. And as for data coming in, it's fine if I'm watching a video or listening to a stream. But I'd also like some idea which sites are shoving ads at me and wasting my bandwidth.
