I just saw a
product advertised in a choice of colors: "black" and "charcoal".
If you asked me what color charcoal was, I'd say "black". I guess they mean dark gray, but they'd do better by saying "dark grey".
And if you're going to give someone a choice, shouldn't the options be different? Yes, they are different, but not in a significant way.
