I think I mentioned really liking my Timex Weekender watch. It was easy to read, and it was extremely accurate - when I needed to reset it in/out of DST, it was always still within a second of the atomic clock. I don't think I mentioned that everything also lined up - the ticks of the 2nd hand consistently pointed to the 60 marks around the dial, and the hands lined up when they should. Most of my watches haven't been made with that care/precision, and I never could understand why not.
My watch did not survive a severe impact in
March(). Woot has more of them today, in a choice of green or blue, watch band and second hand matching. (Odd that the second hand is the 3rd hand, not the 2nd hand.) The blue second hand looks easier to read, and the green doesn't really match my bike, so I went with the blue. (Couldn't quite bring myself to order 2 to have a spare.) I'll probably go with the metal band from the previous watch. (Which actually came from a watch
anniemal ordered, but she didn't like the band.) I do have some scars on my wrist from getting cut by the metal band when the watch got smashed.
The downside of the Weekender is that the current time is all it does (plus the Indiglo backlight) - no timer, no stopwatch, no alarms, no 2nd time zone. Just the time, but it does that very well. It was the most accurate and most readable watch I've ever had, and I'm glad to get another one. (I'm expecting the same accuracy and precise alignment.)

My replacement watch should arrive today. ☺
