Storm-prep suggestions from my ISP:Quick reminders in the event of an outage:

• My Account [link/page] is the best way to stay up to speed on any potential outages and see when your service should be back up. You can log in online or download the XFINITY My Account app.
How am I going to access the "My Account" page during an outage?
I don't have a cell phone; how am I going to run your XFINITY app?• If the power goes out or there's a widespread service outage, our broadband network will automatically alert us to the areas affected by a system outage.
• It's possible not all services will be restored at once and there are times when you might need to report service interruption.
Those 2 statements are contradictory. If your network automatically alerts you to outages, how am I to know the circumstances in which I need to report service interruptions?• Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged and prepare an emergency plan. If you need help creating one, please click here to learn more.
I don't have a mobile phone. I have a hard-wired land line. It is far more reliable than your cable service, and often works when the power is out. Why doesn't this email of suggestions include your phone number?

You haven't made it clear when I should contact you, and you have not provided me any way to contact you. Do you think this note was useful?
