As I've mentioned, I've been spending time on the
CrazyGuyOnABike website. I came across the unfamiliar term "KYBO", and I had to go look it up: "Keep Your Bowels Open" or "Kleen Your Bowels Out". The search engine also found this page for the
Adopt-a-Kybo Program. (
RAGBRAI is the huge [Des Moins] Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa.)

not humor:
People on this site have "agreed to disagree" about whether helmets are good/bad/necessary/stupid/totalitarian. (It's like religion - it might be how you're raised; you might have a conversion, or a falling out.) This was from an equipment review at the end of a tour from someone who doesn't wear a helmet:
We suppose that helmets serve their purposes when commuting or mountain biking or racing or horseback riding (didn't Christopher Reeve have a helmet on when he fell?)....
When Reeve fell from the horse "
He landed headfirst .... shattering his first and second vertebrae. The fall resulted in a cervical spinal injury that paralyzed him from the neck down." These helmets aren't designed to prevent spinal injuries. Without a helment, perhaps he might have had a brain injury as well, and either been killed or left mentally incapacitated as well as paralized - maybe the helmet did work, and things could have been worse.
