ultimate lawnmowing
76°F (24.4°C) in November -- another beautiful day. So I mowed the lawn, presumably for the last time this year. We usually use the mower for a few sessions of leaf mulching (the battery doesn't last long enough to do it all at once), but most of our leaves are still on the branches.
anniemal took James (our standard poodle) to the dog park this afternoon. It hasn't rained lately, so he didn't come home muddy this time.
The concert went well. Our guest soprano got lost, but she found the church before the concert started. (She didn't sing until after intermission, anyway.) Most of the pieces went quite well. The Lamentations of Jeremiah had a rough beginning, and a couple more spots that went awry (Can't people hear when their part isn't fitting in?), but it didn't fall apart. It will be interesting to hear the recording....
