I select a file; I click on DELETE.Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin?
Well, actually, NO, I don't want to move the file to the recycle bin. I want to DELETE the file! I don't want to send it into limbo for future consideration. I'm sure I have no further use for this file. (And I know where to find an archived copy of it if I'm wrong.)
I think Linux gives me the choices of Trash (purgatory) and Delete (non-existence), so I can do either.
[Is calling it the recycle bin now instead of the trash some kind of political correctness? Is Windows now going to reclaim all those superfluous zeros and ones instead of putting them in a virtual landfill?]
