We should get on the road at a reasonable hour this morning. The Super 8's breakfast was marginal -- donuts, toast, dry cereal, coffee -- no juice! There are still no other cars parked around at our building. The weather's turned colder overnight (it's been T-shirt weather since we got out of Arizona) and it's a gray, drab day. The storms have cleared. The Weather Channel warns of flooding on the Sulphur River near Talco, TX. I-30 crosses the Sulphur River about 23 miles downstream of Talco. I hope the bridge is high and dry. Thunderstorms are forecast for Knoxville this afternoon, but that's much farther east than I expect we'll get today.
