When you see a product named "i-something", do you get the feeling they're copying Apple? Here's something from my résumé.
Oct. 1982 - Aug. 1986 - Software Engineer at ORS Automation, Inc. in Princeton, N.J.
• Designed, wrote, tested, debugged, and/or documented software for various ORS inspection systems including the ScanSystem 100 (simple presence-absence detector), i-tect (CRT faceplate defect detection, measurement, and classification), i-lign (screen-print alignment), and i-bot (robot guidance).
I think we beat Apple to it....The original "Bondi Blue" iMac G3 was introduced in 1998.
