pennsic - not over yet?

It's been a quiet day. People are packing out. But it rained much of the afternoon, which means some people ended up packing wet tents. They'll have to dry them out at home (and pack them again). The weather should be sunny and hot tomorrow. Our personal excitement is that the van is doing the Security/Passlock thing again, and we can't start it. Apparently pulling the fuses (the last thing I did before it started before we left home) was not the solution, since it has not gotten the van started. I tried disconnecting the battery, since that's got to reboot the computer. Guess what? When you re-connect the battery, all the doors lock! I was locked out, and I had to walk back to camp to get Andrea's key. And it still didn't start. We've tried disconnecting the battery briefly, not briefly (5 min, 1hr+), pulling fuses, locking/unlocking doors, and it still won't start. Tomorrow's Sunday, so I don't think we can get help from a local dealer (wherever that might be) before Monday. I have one more idea to try tomorrow morning - a jump start (even though the battery isn't dead and the engine cranks) - maybe the extra voltage from another running engine is what made the difference last week.

Camp dinner was homemade pizza, with fresh-baked cookies. The shower was packed up this morning by our neighbor camp, so we don't have that tonight.

Laptop battery @ 27%.
