If I ever do write something that sets off the klaxon, please let me know. It would probably be something I'd never heard correctly (or never heard said correctly), and hadn't thought through. My boss's boss used to say "for all intensive purposes", and I've got an ex-boss who pronounces "ask" like "axe". "Due to" is rife in our office email, and lots of "utilize" when "use" would suffice. (I'm of the opinion that "utilize" should mean "make utile", make useful/usable; to modify or re-purpose the thing, not to use it.)
And then there's always "I could care less." !!!! I didn't get around to doing a posting of my own about the eclipse last week , so here's a picture link for those who couldn't see my mention of it in a locked entry and didn't see it in a late comment in anniemal's journal.
