Comcrap sucks. You may recall that when I called to have my television service reduced from digital to basic cable, they turned off my internet as well. Then, after hours on the phone with these yahoos, who refused to believe that their tech could have done anything wrong, they accidentally turned off the internet of half of my floor. But TV came back on.

Then, they declared it was a construction issue and they needed to replace the cables between the cable room and my apartment. Oh, after 1 week, internet comes back on for everyone BUT me. I ask for an ETA on the repair. They said 'We don't know. We have to call Miss Utility first, it could be a week before you're even scheduled for repair.' I inform them: "Um, you don't need to call Miss Utility. IT's an apartment building. The cable runs through the wall. You're not digging up the ground here." I'm ignored, and told it's "procedure."

I then tell them forget the whole thing, I'm not paying for their incompentence, cancel cable and internet entirely, and borrow my neighbors (with his permission) for the rest of my days in Mason Hall.

I know cancelling may not be an option for you, unless there's FIOS in your neighborhood?
