We went shopping Friday evening. First we went to PetSmart to get mealworms for the gecko.
Then we went next door and wandered around Target. We got a few Rubbermaid storage tubs (which are good for Pennsic packing, because they keep things tidy, clean, and dry) and some Brita filters (best price
anniemal had seen in ages). I had hoped to find some inexpensive small pliers, thinking along the lines of sharing the craft of chainmail weaving at Baitcon, but I'll probably find better at a craft store. And we had a look at their tents, but Annie didn't like their selection. They had miniature versions of the tents and sleeping bags on display, rather than devoting the floor space to have the real products out for view. These would be great for Barbie or G.I. Joe!

Then we went across the way to Home Despot and spent a lot. The big item was weed killers (so
anniemal is serious about the garden), but we also got various adhesives, seeds, plant stakes, and some trellises that may turn out suitable in the very sunny front yard for viney vegetables after we cobble something together with guy wires. I looked at chain saws (we still have a lot of huge tree chunks from the vivisection of our
diseased Oak), but they didn't have many electrics to choose from. I didn't see any suitable crafting tools there either.
