Quite a spring-like day. Sunny, and just shy of 73°F (22.6°C). Atypical for early January here, perhaps record setting. I saw lots of cyclists go by. We opened the windows and got fresh air in the house. Obviously the day for taking down Christmas lights. And that's what I did today. And taking them down is easier than putting them up. And so the darkness returns.
To the people lamenting the absence of snow, and any prospects of snow; look to Colorado and Nebraska, and consider the plight of them what's got snow. I love snow, but I'm also fond of having electricity and central heating.
