This strikes me as so incredibly tacky - "as seen on TV" - another good reason to skip commercials....
To mark the fifth anniversary of September 11th, ...
World Trade Center Commemorative. .... created using two distinct struck pieces. [sic] .... Then the inset of the Twin Towers is magnificently engraved and fitted into the skyline on the face of the commemorative with jeweler precision, able to rise up into a breathtaking standing sculpture. .... The World Trade Center skyline is lavishly clad in gleaming silver miraculously recovered from a bank vault found under tons of debris at Ground Zero.
Just seems to be exploiting people's feelings and memories. (Turns out the company has plenty more commemorative coins to choose from.) It's clever and cute, and totally inappropriate. For a stand-up coin they should have picked a subject that wasn't knocked down so violently (i.e. the buildings themselves were "two distinct struck pieces"). And using silver recovered from the site makes it into a souvenir.... a 15 mg. of 24 KT gold and 15 mg. of .999 Pure silver clad tribute....
Doesn't even sound like a great investment for $30 (plus S&H). The artwork is nothing inspiring. (That eagle is really lame.)
