I just heard a guest (Ben Choen: The Science of Streaks) on a talk show say that someone had spent "thousands, maybe millions of hours" practicing a skill. 1 million hours is 114 years, so no one has spent a million hours practicing any task.
The person being referenced had devoted these thousands of hours in one summer. 1000 hours is 41 days (and 16 hours) - possible for one summer, but extreme.
Another strange thing to label gluten free: (Land O Lakes) butter.
