leaving for Pennsic
It looks like we're leaving for Pennsic today. The van is mostly loaded. I finished grooming the dog after midnight this morning. I still need to clean the litterbox, and someone needs to vacuum. (Our cat/plant-sitter doesn't like seeing all the hair that the cats leave everywhere. Vacuuming helps for a couple of days.)
anniemal is in a really crabby state. She's going to have to point out whatever else needs to get into the van. I've gotten the obvious stuff, and I think we've got everything we need (If you've got a tent and a sleeping bag, you really can get everything else you might need on site.) and more, but I doubt that I've loaded everything she wants.... dglenn and keith_m043 and maybe wolfdancer will be at our camp, I expect we'll see patches023 and maugorn too (but not realinterrobang). And lupikocat, I'm still wondering who you are.... And there's lots of baitcon folks there too.
We should be returning Sunday the 20th, and I'm taking Monday the 21st off from work to unpack. Internet access is possible there, but I don't plan to spring for it, so don't expect to hear anything else from us until then. [I'll make this entry public after we're back. Announcing to the world that our house is empty doesn't sound like a good idea.]
