assumptions

My recent Amazon shopping involved many vendors. I've heard a lot from one - the one with the defective item, as it happens. I heard from a 2nd one today:Hi Xxxxx,

How are you? I hope you having a wonderful day! :)

For being such a loyal and honest customer, we would like to offer you a SPECIAL 20% OFF coupon for our new product arrival Telephoto Phone Camera Lens Kit!
Loyal? I've bought one item from them. And it was a disappointment; not enough to return, but it's not going to be installed on the bike unless I need an urgent replacement when something better fails.
Honest? Well, I did pay for it.
And then there's the assumption that "everyone" has a phone with a camera. I have a cell phone because work provides it. And there's the assumption that a phone is an appropriate tool for the kind of photos I'd want to take.If you do not wish to receive future feedback solicitation email from us, please copy and paste this link to your browser
This was marketing, not "feedback solicitation".
