smoking ☹

14% of Americans smoke. How come I still encounter so much tobacco smoke? It seems like I see more smokers than that. Or maybe it's because so many of the smokers are outdoors? (The non-smokers are indoors, out of sight?)
I have a low opinion of smokers. Smoking is just stupid.
It's carcinogenic.
It's carcinogenic for any nearby non-smokers. (I have to wonder whether my Father's smoking contributed to my Mother's cancer.)
It's expensive.
Land that's growing tobacco could be growing food.
Everyone should have known from childhood that smoking is unhealthy.
