the fine print

We got a large postcard in the mail today apparently announcing an open house (i.e. selling real estate) at a golfing community in central North Carolina, probably about a 5-hour drive from here. This was in a bottom corner in tiny little print:Photos may not be related to subdivision. So what exactly are you folks trying to sell?

By the way, I've never played golf. I think the only time I've ever been on a golf course at a golf club was once in 4th or 5th grade for a class party when somebody's dad was a member. I have played miniature golf a few times, certainly fewer than a dozen. Where do these people buy their mailing lists? And what makes them think we have idle money to buy land that far from where we live?

golf, junkmail
