The radio is saturated with coverage of the royal wedding. I didn't even know the wedding was this weekend until Thursday. I didn't know until an hour ago which of Meghan's parents is Black. Or that Meghan is older than Harry. That kind of trivia just isn't part of my news sources. It's not what's on the websites I visit, and it's not what my friends spend time discussing.
Interesting how white privilege is (finally) being called into question, while royal privilege is still revered by many.
