This is the email I just sent my dad.
So apparently they didn't mention in their letter that they are going to make it mandatory in January, but it's not going to effect people with current contract until our leases are up, so they wouldn't start charging me until I renew my lease. I don't think I'll be renewing.
They also said that they did put both a letter on my door like Lindsey got, and a notice before they entered, but someone was taking them off to put up menus and other door spam. I can buy that for the letter, but I haven't gotten door spam in a few days, so there is no way I believe that's what happened with the notice. Plus, Lindsey didn't get notice either. So they are still full of crap on that front.
And, apparently they don't have a property manager. Their main office under the new owners is in Florida. An "acting manager" comes by every other day or so to handle things and if I want to talk to an acting manager, I can make an appointment for sometime in the middle of the workday. Nice.
Basically, they are full of crap AND stupid.
