HARRY POTTER (spoilers zomg)

SO. That was a pretty cool book! First I HAAAAAAVE to squee about finally seeing Ravenclaw's common room. I LOVE THEIR PASSWORD. Oh man!
And Luna's bedroom mural was the sweetest thing EVAR.
And Dobby was such a hero! And Kreacher totally came around to being awesome.
And, I have to admit, Ron was much less annoying in this book, and I am okay with the fact that he didn't die. When he came back, he stopped acting like a self-centered stupid-head and yeah. He's still far from my favorite, but I guess I don't hate him anymore.
I like how it ended. I mean, it definitely had some cheese going on, but we all knew it was gonna have a happy ending. I was surprised when Harry came back, though... at first I thought that with Harry the Horcrux (watef??) gone, everyone else could off Nagini and Voldypants and voila! Book done, series ended for good, yayzorz. Then when he was in King's Cross station (waaaaaaatef?) I thought that he'd do something from Beyooond the Graaaaave and save the day. Then he... went... back? And I was all "okaayyyy..." and yeah. She made it work, though, I guess.
Everything wrapped up pretty nicely. I liked the stuff about Lily as a kid. I still don't know if Snape is Good, though. I mean, yeah, it shows he was on the side of Good, but it was only because that's where Lily had been. I don't think that makes him Good, himself. He was just acting Good.
I still want to know what the deal is with Petunia, though. All that, with the whole "REMEMBER MY LAST" thing and all that mystery, was never cleared up. And I could SWEAR I remember Rowling saying somewhere that we'd find out what Dudley saw when he was attacked by dementors.
OMG. Hermione. Was tortured. Hoooooooooooly crap.
And Mrs Weasley used a swear word! That about broke my mind, there.
And Percy! Oh man! I really was not expecting to ever see him again. I was proud of him, really.
What else. Hmm. It was good to see an explanation, finally, of Dumbledore's withered hand. I appreciated that.
Man, all that stuff about Albus when he was younger, with Grindewald? Crazy. And his little sister :-( :-( :-(
OH! And the logical trick at the end, with the Elder Wand and who it really worked for. COOL. I DID like that. Very nice.
I think that's it for a while. I need to digest. I am thinking I will wait a while and then reread all of them. It's on my 101 Things list, to be done next summer, but I might do it sooner than that.
