(In all honesty, when I realize my own mortality I try and laugh it off or I spin into a cesspool of over-intellectualized self-loathing simply for being a feeble human. Avoiding that = good.)

i've come to realize that we must avoid that truth as well, but i have a major problem with "avoiding" things, so it's a paradoxical struggle.
