Question: I've been in love with this universe forever, and have about half of the entries in my memories. I've been trying to read some of them again only to find I've been forbidden? Are they locked now?
I don't think anything that was actually posted in syntheticduel has ever been locked (mostly because we are a very lazy group -- although, seeing all the NC-17 stuff that's up here without a lock is making me itch to lock it). However, stuff that was originally posted from a private LJ and then linked here? Probably. With the way LJ is about fiction depicting underage sex lately, most of us in fandoms with characters under 18 have become rather cautious. And nothing says "please ban me" than having unlocked fiction of the Yugi/Sho variety. ;D
And it was never really an RPG -- it was just the four (sometimes five) of us playing around with "what could happen" in the shared YGO / YGO GX universe before we actually knew anything about YGO GX.
And now that we know something about the GX universe, we pretty much write the GX characters differently. And we have gotten into other pairings (Ryo/Edo FTW! XDDDD), so I'm really not sure if we'll return to syntheticduel.
oh heck yes, I understand completely. It was just so...addicting. I just stumbled on a memory linking me to it...and then pretty much read everything in one day. :)
And there's CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT GOING ON NOW! Well...zombies...inspiring character development... (*reluctant watcher*)

Hahaha...yeah, the zombies. Dude, I'd forgotten about them I'm in it for Hell Kaiser Ryo and that other insane pro-dueler Edo Phoneix, and I really don't pretend otherwise XDDD though it was funny to see Manjyome and Sho all ebil! XDDDDD
