Another Update for Ya'll
The engineering open house was pretty neat today, but I was too late, and my father too mean, to catch up with Rachel, Lydia, and crew. Very interesting stuff there, and lots of flying shards of concrete, which would be a good name for a rock band. A quote:
COACH: Ok, now we're doing Stalins (A warm up drill)
HISTORICALLY CHALLENGED KID: Wasn't that a guy in the Nazi government?
ME: No.
For the record, anybody wishing to at least sound like they can speak intelligently about the Nazis should know that Stalin was one of the Nazis' worst enemies, beginning in 1941 that is, and had he not been, we would still have likely been fighting Hitler until possibly 1947. Just a happy little tid-bit for the day.Henry
