Another year almost over
So, 2009 has about 14.5 hrs left before it's over. According to all forecasts, while the beginning of 2010 will be a bit of a stress-inducer between finishing up the wedding plans and getting a presentation ready for a conference in Cincinnati the same month, it looks like it should be better than 2009. Not that 2009 was all bad - I did get engaged to a great guy :)
Anyway, I don't really have much to say about the past year. As for the upcoming year, I'm looking forward to getting married, I'm stressed about the wedding planning and about the conference, but overall, I'm hoping it'll be more relaxing than the past few years. Hoping. But not counting my chickens before they hatch. I refuse to let myself fall into a possibly false sense of security that things will be better, but I can still hope.
In summation (heehee, I'm a smarty-pants), 2009 is about over. 2010 is about to begin. To all those who still pay attention to my little corner of the world, have a safe and entertaining New Year's Eve. May this next year be filled with all the happiness you need, and all the love of friends you deserve. I love you all.
