That would have been a bad day
So, story time...
This morning I decided that it was too chilly to be moving about, so I wrapped myself in blankets on the couch, set up my computer on a TV tray with a glass of Kool Aid and settled in to be snuggly. I decided to not go on the computer right away but rather read 'Salem's Lot'" for a little while. So I'm reading and I go, "hmm I'm thirsty". So I reach over for my Kool Aid and KNOCK IT DOWN! I spilled juice all over my computer! Like a full glass (one of the tall ones) my computer was like *instant death* and I was like "gah!" So I ran to the kitchen (knocking what was left of the red beverage all over the beige rug by the way) and grabbed paper towels, ran back to my computer (which was still dead) and began mopping it up. I tilted it side ways in an effort to drain the juice out of the harddrive (yes there was that much). I soaked up as much as I could and allowed it to remain tipped for a while. When it seemed to have leaked enough I attempted to turn it on. No such luck. I held it in front of the fan in my sisters room. Still no dice. It was unplugged (I didn't want to fry the thing with electricity while I was at it). I attempted calling my sister at work and her boss Randy said no one named Melinda worked there... or at least I presumed it was randy 'cause it was a woman. So I hung up. I couldn't text my mom 'cause she was in an important appointment. Regardless, so then I called Emily because she seems to be able to talk me out of crsis. It was kind of early though, I hope she wasn't sleeping... anyway, I asked her if she knew if it was under warranty or if HP didnt cover "im a moron" and she was like "um you should just ask them" so then I was like "yea i'm screwed" and then so I'm having a standard catch-up conversation with Emily and it came back! My computer it came back to me! Apparently it had dried out and was like "I love you!" and I waas like "ohmygod! i love you too i'll never hurt you again!" and here I am now recalling the whole situation for you folks! My keys are a little sticky but I'm too afraid to clean them for fear of more moisture damage. I'll wait until I'm sure it's going to be okay. Oh but I did clean up the stain on the rug, so that's good too lol.
It's snowing really bad so I don't know if I want to go to see "Unborn" with Anthony tonight or not :x I mean I want to but I don't really want to drive in the snow if I don't have to. Also, we were supposed to hang out afterward and I really don't want to drive after like midnight with the cool temperature freezing everything and what not. I'll probably end up cancelling if it keeps snowing :x
