My life... and the Twilight movie
So, to sum up my life... let's make a list.
1) Internship
So, I think *crosses fingers* I finally got one... working at the heath centre on campus. She wants to have a meeting with my internship adviser and me and then 'go from there'. But she seems just as eager as I am... and I'm eager for three reasons. A) It's on campus.. which means my whole issue with the Cavalier is a non-issue *but I'm still bitter so don't ask* B) It would probably be okay - it would be mostly self directed I think, which would be good. C) I think I would actually help on campus a little and that would be really awesome for me.... so, if it works out, I think it would be alright.
2) Capstone
I got help from my Capstone adviser on how to do my graph for my Independent Samples T-Test. -.- I hate graphs haha but I think I can do it now. Also, I didn't do that horribly on the manuscript so I think if I can just get through the presentation I'll be okay... my Presentation is on the 9th and I'm going to throw up everywhere lol the entire school is invited... I realllly don't want to do this lol But I think if I can get a handle on what I should say and everything then I'll be in good shape.
3) School *general*
School is going really well. I'm doing well in all of my classes, suprisingly. Capstone is my hardest... and the one I put the least effort in to, which is stupid 'cause it's most important lol but, it's not going to badly. I went to my French teachers house on Wednesday haha - that was fun. We watched a movie in French and hung out and spoke French and ate cheese all night haha *the other people from my French class were there too* and one of Delphine (my French teacher)'s friends brought her son *who is one of the most precious 6 year olds I've ever met* and his name was Jasper lol
4) Boys >.<
Charlie's being a stupid face... I don't know why. He's been ignoring me or, okay not ignoring, but avoiding me, for like 3 weeks, and I have no clue what I did. :x he's TRES STUPIDE!
5) Saturday night
So last Saturday I got really hammered.... I had never been drunk before in my entire 21 years on this planet... and I think I know why now haha - It was simultaneously an amazing night, and the worst night of my life haha
6) This weekend
This weekend we're having a Thanksgiving party... we're dressing up as Indians and Pilgrims... I'm excited haha
7) Sticky Fingers
I finished it. It was pretty good. Different than I thought it was going to be. Read if it you want. ^^
8) Going Home
I think I'm going home on Tuesday... which means I get to see my Nephew! My sista! and Manda! .. oh and my mom and cy... It's not going to be much of a vacation though... so much Capstone -.-
9) TWILIGHT
Below the cut will be my review of the movie... there aren't spoilers per say buttt I don't want to be held responsible for any 'aw man why did I read that'.. soo.. read at own risk...
for those of you who don't want to ruin it... it was good.. go see it ^_^
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I was terrified that it was going to suck after all the hype and my wanting it to come out so bad. But I was not disappointed. Obviously it can't be the book. They couldn't take 500 pages and make it two hours without some cuts, and the cuts they made were fine. The rewrites they did worked. The acting was great. I love Chief Swan! The cinematography was amazing! I loved the dialog and the awkwardness haha I loved the reaction of the audience too! They were such a happy enthusiastic crowd. The fight scene could have been longer... I felt like I saw most of it in the preview :x The kids (like Mike Newton, Yorkie, etc) acted a little differently than I expected, but it was okay.
It progressed a little fast, but I think that's just how it had to be because they had to explain so much in such a short screenplay and time. I liked Bella's voice-overs. Rosalie was great! Emmett's adorable! Alice x Jasper <3 It was... I'm impressed with what they did and how they did it. ^_^ I can't wait to see it again when I go home haha Go Summit!<3
