other things to say? Hmm, ooh I have a story.
So, let me run you through my day. Yesterday I had to go on a field trip to "Spaulding Youth Centre" which is a centre for NB/autism/emotionally disturbed boys. There are about 56 boys who live here (46 of which are full time residents). So that was really educational, and I really enjoyed the facility and I kind of want to work with emotionally disturbed children.. I don't know if I could handle autism or neurobiological problems, but I think I could handle the other cases. Do you ever get those moments where you're sitting someplace, or you're talking to someone and you get this feeling that you are exactly where you need to be in your life? Like this is exactly what you're supposed to be doing, and you just feel reassured that you aren't fucking up completely? I got that feeling at the centre yesterday. It's an amazing feeling... it's very calming and peaceful to be reassured so suddenly and for seemingly no reason. It's nice.
After that we went shopping at the tanger outlets in Tilton.. Umm FYI the ones in New York are SO much better! I'm spoiled by NY now lol anyway, so our professor was like "what time do people need to be back?" and I had to serve on community council that night so I was like "6:30 would be phenomenal" and Chantalle needed to be back then too. So we leave Tilton at 5:45 and finally got back to campus at 6:29 or something, so I run up to counsel and it was fine. Then after counsel I was like "Megan, I'm starving." and she's like "want to go to lodge" and I was like "Yea" so we go to the lodge to watch "Office" and eat... while we're in the rec room of the lodge in walks 3 of the people on our counsel that night *that we had to sanction* and me and Megan looked at each other and were like "that's not awkward" lol and then so that was fine, we were talking and joking around with them, and then in walks like another five of them *it was like a 12 person case* so we were like 'is this really happening', and finally at like 9:30 Kristine *the staff supervisor* walks in to the area where the like 10 of us are sitting and she just goes "I was looking for Lauri for her birthday celebration" and she walks out like "I'm not dealing with this awkwardness" haha.. it was hysterical!
So, long story short, I'm never going to the lodge after counsel again lol
Then I went with Megan to Emily's room where we played Rockband and were joined by Julie, Jess, Kelsey, and Sam. It was a good time. I think I shall force my company upon them more frequently lol But probably not tonight. I think I want to hang out with Charlie, I feel like I haven't seen him in forever... I shall force my company upon him first and then perhaps force my company upon the occupants of page muahaha
Tomorrow Ashley and Sarah are coming ^_^ And Sunday/Monday is crunch time! *Oh yea my English class got canceled on Monday so I can use that time to be productive!* OH! Note to self: give blood monday and registration is due monday!
I'm starving! So I'm done for now lol hope you guys are doing awesome!<3
