I'm Alive!
I made it to Maine! The drive here was a lot of fun, I have a stuffed Wolf that Manda bought me (his name is Jacob I might have mentioned him before), well he rode the whole way on the rear view mirror to keep me company, and I cranked up the music. It was pretty fun. Although being in a standard in town traffic does not equal my idea of a good time. I got to Kennebunk just as school was letting out! So many people! lol But now for the drama because you knew it was coming...
So super drama here.. I'm going to paraphrase under the cut, you don't have to read, it's a super rant...
I'm staying with my mommy in her dorm. It's kind of small but it works for one person, not two.. and not two when one of them has practically everything she owns all over the place lol but it's only until tomorrow *eek!* But, of course (as always in my family) once I was here the drama began. Not with me, but with Kim and my mom. Kim (Cy's mother - Cy is my sisters husband) wanted the truck back, that is whole reason I drove it up in the first place. Okie dokie. Well, we didn't tell her the car was coming up yesterday. She was in a fight with Cy so no one ever contacted her. Anyway, so she found out the truck was in Maine and that I hadn't brought it back yet (you see I was going to keep it until Sunday and move back to school with it because honestly I figured she didn't know it was in Maine so why should I bother if I needed it until Sunday?) So fine, she found out, so we asked if we could borrow it for Sunday and she said no, that me getting back to school was not her problem. Whatever. So she CALLED THE COPS on us and tried to arrest us for GRAND THEFT AUTO! Yea, hello! IT'S NOT YOUR FRICKEN TRUCK YOU STUPID WOMAN! Jeez, and so the cops were like "Uh, this isn't registered to her, she can't do anything" and so they didn't do anything about it but then she comes to my moms work and was like "I want the car now, give me the keys!" and she's just such a psycho and she's so mean. Maybe this little story doesn't make her sound mean, and I'm not really trying to make it sound like I want everyone to hate her or anything, but Jeezum Crow. So, I had no way to get back to school tomorrow... uhhh okay, I kind of want to go back to College lol so I was thinking like who can I call, how much is a car rental etc etc, and then we finally decided to borrow a car from my moms friend who lives in the dorm because he'll be at work all day anyway, and since he lives where he works he doesn't need a car during the day to like go home or anything. Luckily he agreed. So cool. Phew. Drama.
In other news, I'm almost all packed, I have like no stuff this year, it's weird and pretty great, less trips up three flights of stairs.
I saw Nick today. He's my best friends brother. He works here now. He's so tall. It's weird because I swear I used to be taller than him lol We didn't talk long but it was nice just the same. I wished him a happy belated birthday just in case he doesn't check Myspace lol
I'm kind of hungry. Oh that reminds me of my other experience. We ate in "The Zoo" today. "The Zoo" is what the employees call their dinning hall. I had never been to eat in it before but it was pretty tasty, and there was table and chairs and I kind of felt like I was back at school already lol I'm pretty excited to go back. Except I won't be so excited when I'm eating a sandwich for dinner because they're trying to be fancy and serve weird meats and sauces that I can't pronounce, or when I'm trudging through 10 feet of snow to get to Ivey. All the same I'm excited to go back lol
I alphabetized all my DVD's and put them in my trunk, and put all my anime and boxsets in a rubbermaid container :) I feel accomplished. And all my art supplies are in a box, and all my books (well not even close to all my books but the ones I'm bringing) are in a box, and it shouldn't be that bad this year to move in :)
Oh and I collect the codes from pepsi caps, and luckily I have the worlds most pepsi drinker for a mother! I got 13 codes from her when I got home lol (that's two and a half MP3's haha) yay!
Anyway, I got to finish packing, and my computer's going to die soon unless I plug it in, but I don't intend to plug it in lol so I'll write when I'm back at school tomorrow! :-D take care everyone. Much love!
