Happiness is only real when shared
I had fun with Manda yesterday. We went to the Bay Shore mall... a real indoor mall! :-D I was in heaven lol and get this, there was a GLORIA JEANS coffee shop! I WAS SO HAPPY haha I hadn't had Gloria Jeans in like a year! Ooh sweet nectar of life lol.
We went to Spencers, Hot Topic, Forever 21, the usual. I got a new shirt, it's pretty cool, but hard to describe, it's pink and black and has many words on it, "Peace", "Anti-war", "love", "make music not war" things like that. But it's collaged in such a way that it is kind of punk with a touch of hippy. I dunno. It's cool.
I also bought two movies at Blockbuster, they were having a "buy 4 movies for $20" sale, so I bought two and Manda bought two. "30 Days of Night", and "Into the Wild". I've seen 30 days many times, and I love it but finally I own it :) and I had never seen "Into the Wild" but heard it was good, so I decided to just buy it. I watched it this morning and it was really good. It was somehow different than I expected yet exactly what I thought it would be. That sounds contradictory but that's how I feel *shrug*. Watch it if you get a chance.
And Manda and I went to Habachi. It was really fun. Our chef was amazing. I'm mean I'm sure they all are, but ours was the man lol and he was kind of cute, but I have a thing for asian guys *shrug* and the food was delicious! And not that expensive, I mean it wasn't like going to subway cheap but it wasn't like break the bank. I've learned that Tuna is chewy. That I can catch broccoli in my mouth when thrown by an expert chef, and that flames on a grill are awesome.
Not much else going on. I go back to Maine tomorrow. I'm kind of sad and nervous. OH! The reason for my nervosa I never told you. Holy cow. So, my mom is picking me up in New London, CT tomorrow when I get off my ferry back to "the mainland", but guess who's gonna be with her? Her boyfriend. Rick. *rolls eyes* It is going to be a weird car ride. I'm going to get as much info out of him as I can though. What his favorite books are, what he likes, what he doesn't like, why he is the way he is. I just want to try and figure out why my mom wants to marry him. Jeez. And if he's not much of a talker I have a good book and an iPod I guess. *shrug*
Back to school on Sunday (and the VMA's are on Sunday!!). I get to see all my school friends, and Sam if she still wants to tag along for the company! :)
Today's my last day of work. Stock day. Woot. I avoided stock all summer and now my last day I got to deal with it.. wouldn't that figure lol
Twilight Tuesday yesterday was kind of dissappointing, I love Catherine don't get me wrong but I'm just too obsessed with the Cullens to accept much else lol
Speaking of obsessed Mallori is reading them... another fangirl created :)
