Yay for social networking sites for felines and canines....
Yes, I feel sheepish after reading the New York Times' article about social networking ("Hey Spot, You've Got Mail"). The article expounds on social network sites for cats and dogs, and how they could be useful for us human servants to obtain advice and support regarding our furry friends. Yes, I will admit that my feline roommates, Scarlet and Melanie, both have Catster profiles. And I have friends with Catster and Dogster profiles for their little ones.
The feline roommates have always been tech-savvy. melaniecat has her own LJ, and Scarlet participates in the local Goth mailing list. And both have Meowmail accounts. Pretty scary.
