Howdy from Seattle!
Hey guys! How's things? I'm doing GREAT out here! Seattle is so cool, I've already met somebody that works at a local club that get's all the good shows (The Aquabats'll be here May 30th, and a bunch of metalcore shows in the meantime) and found a great bookstore. Starbucks sucks, and infests this city like a damned plague (You can have 3 starbucks on a city block and still make money, only after a 4th one comes in do they start to lose money). It's not even that good a coffee, so I've gotta find a local place to hang out. My car should be here by the end of the week, and then I'll FINALLY get around this city some. I meant to go running today, but I might not be able to if I keep walking around the city. I never noticed how thick my accent was till I got here, but then again I never had a thick accent at all. Maybe I'm subconciously playing up my accent as a defense mechanism so they'll label me as a "dumb redneck" and then HWA! Element of Suprise beeyotches! Ninja style! I'm working on not being so uptight, and getting organized, and am trying to make some friends. There's a cute girl I might ask out, but I need a car to do that...And I need to know the city better. Man, it's so lame, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are gonna be in concert here tomorrow and I have duty, so no concert for me! Damn...Only 52 bucks for stagefront tickets too (Ozzfest is $126 for the pit).
