Update on Ol' Blaine, the Mud-Puddle Pirate
Alright, guys, this is Garrett - Blaine's younger brother, if ya didn't know. I'm getting on here to tell ya how he's doing in bootcamp right now, as well as some other pretty cool stuff. Right now he's doing excellently in Cape May, NJ, as he was promoted to Squad Leader for a while. He made an 83 on his pistol-firing test, and aced his mid-term test. Right now they're doing the section of firefighting, so he's in for a rough week or so, but after that it's gonna be smooth sailing. Anyways, on to more important stuff...
So, Blaine got his orders a week or so ago - Seattle, Washington. He's going to be onboard the US Coast Guard Ice-Breaker "Polar Sea", one of two twin ships (the other being "Polar Star"). The boat is the most decorated in the Coast Guard fleet, and is supposedly the best boat to be assigned to in the entirety of his military branch. While on duty aboard the ship, my bro will be visiting places like Japan (Be jealous >.<), Hawaii, Antarctica, the North Pole, New Zealand, Australia, and a few other utterly shweet countries/continents. He's got it down pat, and he's called us a few times now. He's doing great, and he's really happy. You can hear it in his voice. ^_^ Alright, next update will be around sometime later. Chow.
