i went to the zoo today. i had a lot of fun with jesha and pat!
it was really great and the zoo was more fun than i thought it could be-- i think it was the company.
then we went to this amazing thai resturant, which.. holy moley it was amazing.
it was in st. pete by the beach.
then we went to the suncoast bird sanctuary, which was amazing too.

i feel really sure of myself lately. i feel sure about where i am going and what i am doing. this coming school year is going to be exciting. i have:

-modernism, postmodernism and beyond
-contemporary issues in art
-introduction to philosophy
-french II

i'm glad about taking another semester of french. i wish i was farther in it, but that's okay.
i am finished with standards that other people create for me.
it's time for me to make some standards for myself and not worry about others and what they think about my intellegence.
it's time for me to be the best i can and just do it.
and i can.

i am glad to be surrounded with people who are really good for me.

i am ready for the new year. something different. just a change in the number.. but it's nice to imagine it as a new beginning.

oh, and i got my hair cut, which is always fun.
